A multi-family residential building undergoing refurbishment and extension following fire damage. Originally characterised by an ultra-compartmentalised layout, the project restores the existing structure while introducing an additional floor, carefully integrated into the original volume.

The intervention seeks to reconcile repair and transformation, enhancing spatial quality and bringing renewed coherence to the building. The new upper level is designed as a contemporary addition, complementing the existing architecture while clearly expressing its own identity.

Through this approach, the project not only recovers the building’s residential function but also improves its overall performance and living standards.
